Dominical is home to one of the most famous waves in all of Costa Rica.The Baru River creates sandbars that create some of the best waves in the world. Our beach is a great place to learn and, if you are experienced, it’s one of the best places to pitch a tent and wait for the swells to arrive and pratice getting barrelled!
We also have a few extra options for the adventurer from sea cave surf spots to boat access surfing all the way down in Corcovado National Park.
If you are wanting another option for your surfing experience, we have many other beaches in our area that are great for beginner surfers.
Our instructors will take you to remote beaches a short drive away and take you to the next level of your surfing!
